Things To Remember

This is for everyone who has ever needed some motivation or hope or even just a hug. This is for those that need a word of encouragement and for those that need help fighting their battles.

This is for everyone.

This is for you.

I believe in you. As I always say when someone asks me what they should do, I will tell you the same thing. You do you. These three words form a sentence so strong to me that I live by them. I’ll do my thing, you can do yours. I won’t judge you for you choices and decisions and I can only hope that you will do the same for me. I’ve always felt judged and it truly hurts. It is one of the worst feelings ever and I understand that personally. Therefore, I will never judge you. Unless of course you decide that you should do something quite stupid. Then I will tell you of your mistake and I shall help you fix what may come of your choice.

You can do as you wish. Remember that. If your dream is to be a doctor, go for it. If you want to be a stripper, do it for yourself. If you wish to eat pizza and play video games, I guess you can do that too, but maybe have a backup plan for when you are done with that. I hope that if I support you while you’re doing you, that you will also support me.

I only want what’s best for you. I know that sometime I will tell you what I believe to be right but if you think something else is better for you then please do that. I want the best for you in life, in love, in happiness, in everything that you will ever do. Please also want this for me, since of course, I want that for you.

Please remember that I love you. I have loved you since we met and bonded over something odd or funny or some stupid joke. I have loved you since we became friends and since you told me secrets that you didn’t tell anyone else. I have loved you since our first fight or argument or disagreement that we might have had. I have loved you forever and I will continue to love you. I hope that you will only love me too.

Sometimes you’re stupid. And sometimes you make dumb mistakes. I do this too though and I understand why or how or what you did that was so completely and utterly stupid. We have both done dumb things and I hope that you will understand that these things happen to everyone. Everyone makes decisions that they regret and makes mistakes that you may never be able to fix. But it’s okay. I will still believe in you.

I hope that you will try to understand. Understand why I do certain things. Understand why I say certain things. Understand why I feel the way that I do for you. I will always try to understand you whether it’s understanding something you say or do or feel. I hope that you will also do this for me too.

I trust in you. I trust that you will do what’s best for you. I trust in the things that you say to me. I trust that we will still support and love each other no matter what happens. The amount of trust that I have put into you is so extensive that even I get scared sometimes by it but no matter what I still will trust you. I can only hope that you can trust me this strongly too.

You’re important to me. You mean the world to me and I want you around forever. You help me through issues and I help you through things too. We are each others support system and I’m so relieved for that.

Please, remember these things. Remember that you are important to me. That I trust you. That I want to understand you. That even if you are stupid sometimes, I will still be there for you. Remember that I love you and that I only want what is best for you. You can do as you wish and I will support you no matter what. But most of all, remember this:
